Sabeena Farooq says she hasn't gotten lip fillers and is scared of needles.

The actress said she hasn't had lip injections, and even if she did, it's no big deal.

Sabeena Farooq denies getting lip fillers and reveals her fear of needles.

Pakistani actor Sabeena Farooq answered people's guesses about how she looks. She said she did not get lip fillers, and explained that she is scared of needles and injections, which is why she never had that done.

On her Instagram Story, the actor talked about messages from people who thought she had gotten the cosmetic treatment. She said those rumors were not true, but she also made it clear that she does not think cosmetic enhancements are bad, and she believes everyone should be free to choose what they want to do.

"I've been getting a lot of messages from people saying I got lip fillers, which isn't a bad thing in itself, but I didn't actually get them because I'm scared of needles and injections. If I wasn't, I would have thought about doing it, no matter how much I might have overdone it. But yeah, we shouldn't question what people do to their bodies, right?" she said, according to comments shared from her story.

Farooq's reply balanced addressing the rumors about herself with pushing back against people picking apart others' looks. While she said no to lip fillers, the actress made clear she has no problem with those who choose to get cosmetic work done.

Her words also brought up a bigger discussion about beauty standards and how public figures are criticized for their appearances. Celebrities often find themselves at the center of online guesses about cosmetic treatments, with any change in how they look sparking assumptions about whether they've gone under the knife.

By pointing out that cosmetic enhancements are a personal choice, Farooq seemed to ask why such decisions should become a reason for public judgment in the first place.

Farooq has become a familiar name in Pakistani TV, earning praise for her acting in several popular dramas. With a degree in Media Studies, she started acting in 2016 and has since played a wide variety of characters.

She got a lot of attention for playing Haya in the hit show Tere Bin. Although the character drew heavy criticism from viewers, Farooq also faced online abuse and threats, which led her to speak up about separating an actor from the role they play.

In 2023, she addressed the backlash in an Instagram post, asking viewers to stop aiming anger at her because of her on-screen part. Later, she talked about how audiences in Pakistan and India reacted differently to her performance.

Farooq made her reputation even stronger with her roles as Barbeena in Kabuli Pulao and Aliya in Mann Jogi. Her acting in Kabuli Pulao won her the Lux Style Award 2025 for Best TV Actress (Critics' Choice).

In August 2026, she was also named one of the honorees of the CLC Global 100 Women Leaders Award 2026, which recognizes women from different fields, including entertainment.

Outside of acting, Farooq has used social media to talk about criticism, online behavior, and the stress that celebrities face. Her latest reply to the lip filler rumors follows this pattern, as the actor clears up her own stance while reminding people that personal choices about looks deserve respect.
