Nida and Yasir Nawaz celebrate 24 years of marriage on live TV

A couple shares wedding memories and family stories while celebrating with loved ones on TV.

Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz celebrated 24 years of marriage on live TV this Thursday. They were joined by family to look at old wedding photos and talk about their life together.

Celebrating live on TV, the couple set up a wedding scene with flowers and vows. They invited viewers across Pakistan to celebrate with them.

The segment started with the couple looking at their wedding album, which included photos from their mayoun, mehndi, and reception. The pictures also showed Yasir with his mother, as well as family and relatives celebrating with the couple.

As they looked at the photos, the family shared old memories. Yasir's brother, Danish, remembered how hard it was to plan the wedding and manage guests in the summer heat. He said they were told to arrive at 4 p.m. to stay cool, but when they arrived, the hosts were not ready. 

Nida remembered how tiring it was to wait while wearing high heels. She said the heat and the shoes were exhausting, joking that her feet were completely ruined.

The host shared a funny story about losing her diamond ring and the panic that followed. "I woke up and realized my ring was missing. I worried he would think I lost his gift," she said. "I even checked inside my almost empty face wash tube!

" During the show, the couple played games to see how well they knew each other by answering questions about their habits and personalities.

They talked about Nida's mood, Yasir's love for making movies, and how Nida often misses calls. They finally agreed that Yasir is the funniest person in the family.

Another great part of the show was Nida talking about her recent holiday with her son. She mentioned how important it is for couples to spend time alone together. 

She said, 'I have tried to make time for us over the years, even if I had to encourage Yasir to do it. For anniversaries or birthdays, we go away for a few days, even if we just stay locally. It helps us bond, and I think every couple should do this.'

She said that Yasir gave her much-needed time and freedom this year, which she found very meaningful. She shared that she went on her first solo trip, visited her children living in other countries, and also enjoyed a wonderful trip with Balaj.

The couple also got a surprise call from Nida's father. He shared his happy feelings and said he was glad to see his daughter so happy after more than twenty years of marriage. He said, "Fathers are happiest when they see their daughters happy in their lives, especially after so many years of marriage."

The event ended with the couple cutting a cake and getting flowers and well-wishes from their family. They also posted a photo together on Instagram to celebrate. They have been married since 2002 and have three children.
