Humaira Asghar's body has no drugs or toxins, according to the chemical report.

A report on the chemicals in actor Humaira Asghar Ali, who was found dead under unclear circumstances in a flat in DHA Phase VI, Karachi, shows that there were no drugs or poison in her body, according to ZW News on Friday.

The report said that tests on samples from her lungs, liver, and hair found no drugs or harmful substances. This chemical report was important for the ongoing investigation into how she died.

DIG South Asad Raza confirmed to Geo News that the report had now been shared with multiple investigative agencies involved in the case. He added that the police were continuing to examine various aspects related to the actress's death.

Raza also mentioned that police took several things from the actress's apartment for the investigation. They are trying to find out how and why Humaira Asghar died.

Body discovery, probe

The actress's decayed body was found on July 8 after a court official broke into her flat at Ittehad Commercial because the landlord asked him to due to unpaid rent. When no one answered, he forced the door open and discovered her remains.
The first autopsy showed the body was very decomposed, indicating that Humaira Asghar likely died about eight months earlier, around October 7, 2024. Neighbors reportedly first noticed a bad smell from her flat in December. Documents found at the scene, like utility bills, showed that rent and bills were paid until May 2024.

Officials also found clothes in the bathroom and laundry area, suggesting she might have been washing clothes before she died. Her body was located in a room next to the bedroom, with the balcony door open.

The main door of the flat was locked from the inside, according to police. Investigators found three mobile phones, a tablet, a diary, and various papers in the flat.

All three SIM cards registered to her were working in the phones, two of which did not have passwords. Digital analysis showed her phones had over 2,000 saved contacts, and she regularly communicated with at least 75 different numbers.

On the day she might have died, she contacted 14 people. The investigation is still ongoing to find out exactly what happened.
