Alexa Demie spoke about rumors that she might stop acting after Euphoria ends. She explained her views on fame, her career, and her future in show business.

The actress, famous for her role as Maddy Perez in the HBO show Euphoria, talked about recent rumors in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. When asked if she plans to quit acting after the show ends, Demie joked around but did not say for sure that she is leaving her career.

In the interview, the actress talked about the hard times she had at the start of her career. Demie said she often tried out for parts that didn't include Hispanic actors, which was frustrating. Even though she thought about quitting, she said those struggles actually made her want to work harder and succeed.

Demie talked about how she got the part of Maddy Perez. The creator of Euphoria, Sam Levinson, said that HBO bosses first doubted if she was right for the role because they had a different person in mind. However, Levinson believed Demie was the best choice and kept fighting for her to get the part.

The actress also talked about filming romantic scenes. She said she felt pressured to do them at first because she was new to acting. Demie felt that saying no might hurt her career, even though no one told her that directly. Once she spoke up, the crew respected her limits and followed her wishes.

Talking about her fame, Demie said she isn't trying to become more famous. She said she likes her current life and prefers having control over her own decisions instead of wanting more attention from the public.

She made these comments as excitement grows for the final episode of Euphoria season three. Although Demie talked about rumors that she might retire, she did not say she is quitting acting. Fans are still waiting to see what she will do after the HBO show ends.
