David Harbour and Gaby Hoffmann pose together while promoting the upcoming film Little One, a new project from the producers behind the horror hit Weapons.

David Harbour and Gaby Hoffmann will star in Little One, a new dark comedy directed by Alex Kavutskiy in his first movie.

Producers Zach Cregger and Roy Lee are working together again on this project, following their work on Barbarian and Weapons. Funded by Hammerstone Studios, the movie Little One is set to start filming in Los Angeles this month using California's film tax credits.

Most story details are still secret, but the plot follows a seemingly perfect family whose lives are shaken when a child starts acting strangely. This mystery threatens to ruin their perfect reputation, leading to a dark comedy about family relationships.

Kavutskiy wrote the script and will produce the project with Chris McEwen, Amanda Phillips, and Melina Torres. Other executive producers are Ibrahim Mohammed, Chase Vigari, David Goldman, Michael Learner, and Karina Manashil.

Harbour is working on many big new projects after finishing Stranger Things. He recently received praise for his role in HBO's DTF St. Louis. He will also appear in upcoming movies like Violent Night 2 and Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday, where he will play Red Guardian again.

Hoffmann is still very popular after acting in movies like Eric and Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere. Her next projects are the A24 film Deep Cuts and the Netflix thriller Time Out.

With two famous actors and the creators of recent hit movies on board, Little One is already getting attention even before filming begins.
