Vidya Balan shares an emotional message remembering Irrfan Khan and the film project they never got to complete together.



Vidya Balan wrote a heartfelt message about Irrfan Khan, remembering their time working together and their previous movie.

Balan wrote a touching message about the actor who died in 2020. She remembered their 25-year-old movie, 'The Last Tenant,' which is now available on YouTube.

The actress posted movie clips on Instagram with a long description.

"I watched 'The Last Tenant' for the first time last night. I filmed my part 25 years ago, but for some reason, it was never released," she said.

The actor then talked about the difficulties she faced in her career at that time: "It felt like nothing I tried was working out. My first Malayalam movie, Chakram, was canceled. After that, I was taken out of about twelve movies in three years."

She said, "Basically, like other failed projects, I wanted to forget it, so I did. I hid it away until last week when the director texted me about its YouTube release."

The actress also spoke about Khan's great acting and the good times they shared.

"A fuzzy memory surfaced. I recalled calling my sister, thrilled, from the set. I told her I was working with Irrfan Khan from 'Banegi Apni Baat.' I thought he was the most authentic actor back then, and I still feel that way...he was always genuine."

Balan also said that after he died, she regretted that they never got to act together in a couple of movies that didn't happen for various reasons. But now she's happy to have 'The Last Tenant!!!'.

Irrfan Khan was a famous Indian actor. He acted in Indian and American movies. He became known worldwide for his roles in Life of Pi (2012) and Jurassic World (2015).
