Meera believes the movie 'Psycho' can be as good as Bollywood and Hollywood films.

KARACHI: Meera, who produced and stars in the movie Psycho, says it's a top-notch film that can compete with Bollywood and Hollywood. It will be released on Eid ul Adha, The News reported Saturday.

She was sure the movie would make over Rs500 crore and become a huge global hit, breaking records.

Meera mentioned that if they ever make a sequel called 'Psycho 2', they'll film it in Karachi. Reflecting on her role, she said she got so into the character that she started feeling like the 'biggest psycho' ever.

She said the job was very hard and it also made her feel bad in her mind.

Meera said this at a press conference in Karachi to promote her movie, and also spoke about it on Geo TV. Actor Mustafa Qureshi was there too.

Geo Films will handle media for this thrilling, suspenseful, action-packed adventure movie.

Meera also said that even though Pakistan doesn't make many good movies, Psycho will help the country's film industry become known worldwide. She added that she always tries to act better and also lets new actors learn from her.

She also said Shan Shahid directed the movie, and it was a special experience working with him.

Meera said she worked very hard for the role and felt stressed and depressed because it was so intense. She added that acting is hard work and needs complete dedication and love for it.

She stated that Psycho isn't just a movie; it represents Pakistan's honor and who they are. She believes it's good enough to compete with Indian and Hollywood films and will make Pakistani viewers proud.

At an event, veteran actor Mustafa Qureshi mentioned that if India can make a movie about Phool Devi, then Pakistan can also make a movie about Paki. He felt it was wrong that Paki's arrest was covered in the media for so long, while other important topics don't get the same attention.

He also said that in Punjab, film projects often get money based on politics. The press event also honored the senior actor for what he's done for the film world.
