Actress Asma Abbas faced online criticism after launching her brand, Asma Abbas Designs. 

She shared promotional videos of her Eid collection on Instagram from both her personal and brand accounts.

Many thought the designs were too flashy and bright. 

This caused a stir online, with people criticizing the negativity aimed at the older actor.

A user pleaded, "Please don't spoil simple things that make others happy." 

Despite negative comments, the actress responded kindly on Instagram, saying, "Thank you for the positive feedback on my designs and for your orders."

The strong reaction led to online discussions, with many social media users criticizing the unneeded negativity aimed at the veteran actor.

 One user pleaded, "Please don't spoil other people's happiness."

She explained that her home business is just for sharing her designs, not for helping people's careers. 

"If you want acting connections or to talk to producers, please don't come. This is just for shoppers, not career help-seekers," Asma stated. She finished, "I just make clothes you'll love."

The actor started the brand at an event on May 16. 

She's also still acting, with roles in dramas this year, like Mirza Ki Heer.
