Alizeh Shah and Zoha Waseem argue online about comments on auto-tune.

This week, Shah used her Instagram to criticize Waseem's rehearsal setup.

Alizeh Shah and Zoha Waseem engaged in an online argument after comments surfaced regarding the use of auto-tune in performances, sparking debate on social media.

This week, actress Alizeh Shah and singer Zoha Waseem were popular online because they had a disagreement. Waseem was accused of using auto-tune while practicing for a performance.

This week, Shah criticized Waseem's rehearsal on Instagram. Waseem was singing her popular song 'Majboor' but seemed annoyed because the crew wasn't playing the right part. Shah's criticism reportedly followed online rumors about comments Waseem made about the actor.

"Guys, she wants attention. Wow, so jealous. Because people don't notice you, you're getting jealous of others," is what someone supposedly said.

Afterward, Shah put a video and a message on her Instagram story. She wrote: "Learn to sing your own way before you try to imitate others. It's not like things are so bad that I need to be jealous of you."

She also said, "Did anyone even know who you were before this dumb song? Get better soon. You were popular for only four days, don't get too excited."

Shah also covered her nose and copied Waseem's voice singing the popular 'Majboor' chorus, saying she was sick of hearing it so often.

Waseem later said on social media that she didn't post the messages and that her only real social media account is her official Instagram page.

She also responded to her critics by joking, "Next time, I'll use better autotune, everyone."

Some people agreed with Shah that Waseem used auto-tune. Others shared videos of Waseem singing live covers, praising her singing talent.

Zoha Waseem's song "Majboor," with Sheheryar Rehan, came out in September 2025 and has been listened to over 22.7 million times.
