Atiqa Odho tells women to take care of their breast health and see a doctor early.

Actor urges families to talk about breast cancer awareness and regular health checks as part of their daily lives.

Atiqa Odho encourages women to prioritize breast health and seek early medical advice.

Veteran actor Atiqa Odho has told women to put their health first and asked families to help their loved ones get medical care on time. She used her social media to spread awareness about breast cancer and why finding it early matters.

On Instagram, she shared a pink awareness poster showing three women. Odho stressed how important it is to take care of yourself, get regular health check-ups, and talk openly about breast health in daily life.

The poster said, "Look after those who matter, by looking out for Breast Cancer." It showed how awareness and support can help women feel encouraged to see a doctor.

In her post, the actor wrote, "A little awareness today can make a lifetime of difference." She added, "Breast cancer is a reminder that caring for the women we love means encouraging them to care for themselves, too."

Odho pointed out that finding cancer early is very important. She said, "Regular self-examinations, timely medical consultations, and recommended screenings are important steps towards protecting our health."

She also asked her followers to stop staying silent about breast cancer and urged women to talk to a doctor without fear or shame.

She wrote, "Let's break the silence, spread awareness, and remind every woman that her health matters," and urged women to take care of their own health as much as they care for their loved ones.

Her message comes during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which focuses on the importance of spotting possible symptoms, knowing about screening options, and getting medical help when worried.

This yearly campaign also helps tackle the shame and silence that can keep women from talking about their health or seeking care.

While being aware of changes in the breasts can help women notice possible warning signs, self-checks do not replace recommended screenings or check-ups by doctors. Women should see a qualified healthcare professional if they find a new lump, changes in breast shape or size, skin dimpling, nipple changes, or unusual discharge. Screening advice depends on age, family history, and personal risk.

Beyond the medical side, Odho's post highlights how families and communities can help make talks about breast health normal. Encouragement from a mother, sister, daughter, or friend can make women feel more at ease discussing concerns and getting medical care.

In another Instagram post, the actor pointed out the heavy impact of breast cancer in Pakistan, stressing the need for more awareness and early detection.

The post also said that finding the disease early gives a 98% chance of survival. But survival rates can change based on when the cancer is found, the type of cancer, and personal health factors, so this number should not be seen as a promise for everyone.

Ending her latest message with care and togetherness, Odho wrote, "With love and care, let's make awareness a habit, not just a moment."

Her message reminds us that breast cancer awareness should not only happen in one special month.

Talking openly, getting medical help on time, and following the right screening advice can help women make smart choices about their health.

Odho is one of Pakistan's most famous TV and film actors, with a career of more than 30 years. She first appeared on TV in Anwar Maqsood's Sitara Aur Mehrunissa in 1992 and then became well known through dramas like Dasht, Nijaat, and Angaar Wadi.
