Zhalay Sarhadi defends Hira Mani amid social media criticism

Zhalay Sarhadi has come to defend her friend and fellow actor Hira Mani after Hira faced criticism over her social media content.

Zhalay replied in the comments of an Instagram post where someone had made fun of Hira for her videos and online behavior. She called out those who had been saying mean things about the actor.

Zhalay wrote: "It takes a really sad person to go online and say something bad or rude about someone who hasn't done anything to them. She is enjoying her life. Why do you care? Also, whatever someone says just shows what kind of person they are."

Her remarks came after Hira received criticism over the last few weeks for the dance clips, voiceovers, and other posts she has been sharing online. One creator, in particular, called her style "cheap" and wondered why the actress wanted to gain fame that way.

Even with the negative feedback, Hira seemed unaffected and kept posting on her own terms. After getting a new haircut, she shared a batch of photos, telling her fans to be proud of who they are.

"Be cringe. Take photos. Decorate whatever you want to. Use your social media like a journal. Be you," she wrote in the caption.

Hira also kept posting the fun dance videos that had recently become a hot topic among social media users.

Zhalay openly supported her, and Hira kept showing her true self online, so the actor's social media stayed a hot topic for users.

Instead of answering the criticism directly, Hira's latest posts showed she was still set on expressing herself her own way.
