Awards to honor women in movies, style, sports, and making a difference in society.
Pakistan's top women in film, fashion, sport, and social impact will be honored on a global stage this November, as the Creative Leadership Conference (CLC) Global 100 Global Women Leaders Award 2026 comes to Islamabad.
These awards are given under the Creative Leadership Conference, which celebrates women whose leadership, successes, and vision have made a real difference in communities, industries, and worldwide platforms.
This year, one of the people honored is actor Sabeena Farooq. Her work is now among the most watched in Pakistani TV and movies.
She studied Media Studies and started acting in 2016. Farooq has done many different roles, like Haya in Tere Bin, Barbeena in Kabuli Pulao, and Aliya in Mann Jogi.
Her part in Kabuli Pulao won her the Lux Style Award 2025 for Best TV Actress (Critics' Choice), which made her one of the country's top young actors.
Farooq will share the stage with experienced actor, teacher, and media expert Simi Raheal, who has worked in film and TV for almost 50 years.
Raheal graduated from the National College of Arts in Lahore and received the Fatima Jinnah Medal for Media.
She has also spent over 30 years helping new performers grow and teaching media in Pakistan and around the world.
Seema Aziz, who started the clothing brand Bareeze and the CARE Foundation, will represent the fashion and charity world.
Her foundation teaches over 285,000 students in more than 800 schools in Pakistan.
As a business leader and giver, Aziz has worked to open up more learning chances and create routes for young people all over the country.
Also being honored is motorcycle adventurer, filmmaker, and content creator Zenith Irfan. She became one of the first Pakistani women to finish a solo long-distance motorcycle ride.
Her journey was inspired by her late father's dream, and later led to the 2018 movie Motorcycle Girl and got attention from international media like CNN and BBC.
For over ten years, she has spoken up for women's ability to move freely and pushed women to follow unusual paths.
Completing the list is Pakistani MMA athlete Saria Khan, who started and leads Bahimmat, a program that focuses on self-defense and helping women gain power.
Khan, the first female MMA fighter from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has shown off her skills in Pakistan and around the world.
Through Bahimmat, she teaches children, women, and girls self-defense and how to build confidence, aiming to help them grow leadership skills and become change-makers in their communities.
Together, the award winners represent a wide range of leaders from across Pakistan, including in entertainment, education, business, sports, and social work.
Through the CLC Global network, winners connect with policymakers, diplomats, business owners, and change-makers worldwide, creating chances for teamwork beyond the awards event.
The CLC Global 100 Global Women Leaders Award 2026 event is planned for this November in Islamabad.
