Mahira Khan and Hania Aamir, along with others, condemn violence against women as demands increase for a clear investigation into the death.
Pakistani stars have spoken out to support Hina Javed's family, asking for fairness after the young woman died in Rawalpindi on August 20. Police are looking into the case as a possible murder.
Actors like Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir, Osman Khalid Butt, Iffat Omar, and Samar Jafri stood with Hina and her family, saying no to violence against women and wanting a clear investigation.
Hina, who got married in 2025, moved into her husband's family home. Reports say she was found hanging from a wire tied to a bathroom shower. Her brother, Fahad, then filed a murder case against her husband, Asghar Imam, her father-in-law, and a house worker.
The case is still being looked into, and the accusations against the named people have not been proven in court.
Mahira Khan responded to the case on Instagram, asking questions about the details around Hina's death and showing support for her family.
She wrote in the comments of a post shared by a page focused on spreading awareness about Hina's case: 'What kind of world is this? What kind of so-called men are we raising?'
Hania Aamir and Samar Jafri shared Instagram stories from the Justice for Hina page, which has recorded claims made by the family about abuse Hina reportedly suffered from her husband and his family.
According to the claims on the page, Hina was allegedly hit, kept alone, and locked in a separate room. These claims have not been independently checked. She also showed her support for the family, saying: 'I'm with you in whatever way you need. I can't imagine your pain and loss.'
Iffat Omar also posted on Instagram, asking Punjab's Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to act and speak out against violence toward women. She wrote, 'These women trusted the men who were supposed to protect them, and it got them killed.
' She added, 'You have power most of us asking for justice don't have—use it, not as a politician, but as a woman who knows exactly what these women's silence sounded like.'
Osman Khalid Butt called the reported details of Hina's death horrifying and asked if the case would ever lead to justice.
He said, 'The details of Hina Javed's murder are shocking. People are angry, arrests have been made, and everyone is asking for justice. But we have been in this situation before.'
He emphasized that Hina's family must not have to spend years battling the system for justice.
Pakistan's entertainment industry's growing reaction has shone a light on this case and the bigger problem of violence against women. The investigation and courts will decide the facts and assign blame, but Hina's family and supporters want a clear, fair investigation and proper legal steps.
