Kinza Hashmi got many fans from her role as a tricky political leader in the show Leader. Some real politicians liked her too. One of them, MNA Romina Khurshid Alam, asked her to come to the National Assembly.
In an Instagram video on Thursday, Hashmi went into the assembly building with Alam. Alam showed her the art, models, and old objects on display.
The actor also visited the assembly floor. She met staff members there and in her host's office. The three-time MNA gave her a gift and praised her work representing female lawmakers in the media.
Alam said she was proud of Hashmi for showing female politicians and parliamentarians on screen. She thanked Hashmi for her work, calling it excellent.
In the post's caption, the actor said visiting parliament helped her understand her role in Leader better. She wrote, "Politics, which seems like a privilege, is actually more than that—it's a responsibility, a duty, and a lifelong commitment."
During the visit, the actor also met Minister Attaullah Tarar for Information and Broadcasting. They had a useful talk about important issues, especially those affecting women in media in our country.
In early July, Alam and Balochistan lawmaker Jamal Raisani praised the actor's work in the show 'Leader.' Alam said Hashmi perfectly played the role and called her acting absolutely amazing.
The actor was grateful for their nice comments.
