The long-awaited 'Mango Jutt' holds a festive music launch
'Film is for all of Pakistan, not just Punjab,' says producer Hareem Farooq in an exclusive interview KARACHI:Actor and producer Hareem Farooq says her new Punjabi film Mango Jutt is for all of Pakistan, not just Punjabi speakers. The film comes out in theaters on October 16. At the film's music launch in Karachi, she told The Express Tribune that making the film was hard but rewarding. She said just finishing it was a success. "My message is that people should watch this film with an open heart. It is for all of Pakistan. Just because it is a Punjabi film does not mean it is only for Punjab. It is a film for the whole country," she said. The film stars Faysal Quraishi and Farooq. It mixes action, comedy, romance, and Punjabi culture. It will release in cinemas across Pakistan and around the world on October 16.
